Our journey began with a love for chickens
My fascination with chickens started at the tender age of nine. We began with six friendly hybrid laying hens from a local supplier. The following year, our speckled hen decided to go broody, sparking our first foray into hatching. We successfully hatched fertile Millie Fleur de'Uccle eggs from a family friend and even added some mixed bantam eggs from the Lincolnshire Show to our incubator. Since then, our interest has grown exponentially, leading us to hatch a variety of breeds including Silkies, Polish, and many more, constantly expanding our knowledge and passion for poultry.
What makes our eggs unique?
At Harry's Hatchery, our fertilised eggs come exclusively from our charming Pekin/Cochin bantam chickens. We pride ourselves on a consistently high success rate for hatching. So far, the chicks hatched from our eggs have displayed beautiful colours, including Millie Fleur, black, and white, promising a delightful surprise with every hatch. We ensure our chickens are happy and healthy, contributing to the vitality of their eggs.
